The Mount Adams Sunset Garden Stroll will feature seven gardens.

The private gardens of one of Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhoods will be on full display during a walking tour on June 14.

Mount Adams’ Sunset Garden Stroll invites attendees on a self-guided jaunt to explore seven of the area’s backyard gardens and verdant public spaces. Started in 1998, the event “shows unique ways to create a garden within the confines of an urban setting and on various hillsides,” per a description.

The Mt. Adams Beautification Association hosts the Sunset Garden Stroll and media contact Margaret Mock tells CityBeat event tickets include “live music, light bites and wine/beer pours at each garden.”

Proceeds will benefit the upkeep of the neighborhood’s public greenspaces and floral displays, maintained by the association, including those on the Ida Street Bridge, in the business district and more.

Holy Cross-Immaculata Church, the Monastery Event Center, the Cincinnati Art Club and Pilgrim Chapel will also be open to the public during the Sunset Garden Stroll.

The event takes place 5-9 p.m. June 14. Tickets are available for $25 in advance online at mtadamscincy.org. Purchase day-of tickets for $30 in person at the corner of St. Gregory and Pavilion streets.

A shuttle will be available, per an event map.
