Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are skipping Cincinnati in 2023 – but maybe only for now.

Cross another one off the list, Cincinnati. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band won’t visit the Queen City on their 2023 upcoming tour.

On July 12, Springsteen announced that he would kick off an international tour with 31 late-winter and spring dates in the United States, finishing things up in – where else? – New Jersey. It will be the first time Springsteen and his band have toured together here since 2016.

But Cincinnati fans won’t get to enjoy the show in town; Springsteen has scheduled shows for March 9 in Columbus and April 5 in Cleveland. Country superstar Reba McEntire also announced a tour this week that does not include Cincinnati.

Cincinnati has another shot at Springsteen, though. The Boss said he’ll be back for another North American tour leg next July. Those shows have not yet been announced.

Tickets for the spring tour will go on sale in staggered releases beginning July 20. Find full tour and ticket information on the Bruce Springsteen website.

Springsteen hit the ground running in the ’70s, becoming lauded for his relatable storytelling through lyrics and for his guitar-driven rock-and-roll. A 1999 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a 2009 Kennedy Center Honors awardee, Springsteen has created plenty of solo work while also collaborating with members of Rage Against the Machine, U2, The Gaslight Anthem, Dropkick Murphys and more. SiriusXM has a channel devoted to Springsteen’s music and stories, and The Boss’s critically acclaimed Springsteen on Broadway shows earned him a special Tony Award.
