President Joe Biden visited a metal manufacturer in Hamilton, Ohio, and discussed a wide range of issues including 3D printing Friday afternoon. Traffic delays and road closures did not cause any major issues.

Air Force One arrived at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport at 1 p.m. Friday for a visit with manufacturing leaders in Greater Cincinnati. The president departed Hamilton around 4 p.m. and arrived at CVG at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Biden got directly off Air Force One and into the motorcade Friday afternoon and headed towards Hamilton. He was moving quickly and did not stop to speak or wave to anyone. There were at least four cars in the motorcade.

Biden spoke at United Performance Metals in Hamilton and a city official told The Enquirer that traffic updates and alerts were handled by the Secret Service.

The commute from CVG to Hamilton was estimated to be about 50 minutes, according to Google and the same upon return.

Fairfield City Schools announced that the district closed on Friday due to President Biden’s visit to Butler County.

United Performance Metals is a global distributor of high-performance metals serving industries including aerospace, semiconductor, power generation, oil and gas and others.
