Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden has been voted the best zoo in America by readers of USA Today.

The zoo placed number one for Best Zoo on USA Today’s “10Best” Readers Choice Awards, and the botanical gardens made second place on the Best Botanical Garden list.

“It’s wonderful to be recognized for being a great zoo and a great Botanical Garden,” said zoo director Thane Maynard in a press release. “The zoo is a special place to Cincinnatians and visitors alike, and we want to thank everyone who voted for us in both categories.”

The zoo took home this award in 2019 and 2021 after taking a dip and winning second place in 2020.
