HorrorHound Weekend is almost here and the Sharonville Convention Center’s going to get real spooky thanks to all the talented filmmakers and fans that’ll be in attendance.

HorrorHound is both a magazine devoted to the genre and the host of a series of regional conventions that bring in celebrities and pop culture icons from both new and classic horror. HorrorHound Weekend will include film screenings, panel discussions, costume contests, meet-and-greets, photo ops and plenty of cosplay.

The event takes place March 25-27 and has a killer celebrity guest lineup, especially if you’re a fan of Scream. Neve Campbell, Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy and Skeet Ulrich are all slated to make appearances.

Other notable guests include “the Scream Queen” Adrienne Barbeau (Escape From New York, Creepshow, The Fog); Ross Marquand, Tom Payne and Ryan Hurst from The Walking Dead; Lloyd Kaufman, founder of Troma Entertainment; and special effects maestro Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2).

Savini told CityBeat he saw the guest list and outright told the convention organizers he wanted to join up — if Tom Savini asks to join your horror convention’s guest list, you know you’ve got a hell of a great weekend ahead.

“This is like a big reunion. I’m excited to see Adrienne Barbeau, I have a lot of questions for her,” says Savini, who worked with Barbeau on Creepshow and Two Evil Eyes (both films were collaborative productions with his late longtime friend and creative partner George A. Romero).

HorrorHound gives fans a chance to talk with their favorite genre stars, get autographs, ask a few burning questions and get that cherished selfie for social media clout.

There will be horror movie screenings throughout the weekend, along with plenty of merch. Who doesn’t need a few more black T-shirts with Freddy Krueger on them?

According to the website, Saturday’s tickets are sold out and so are VIP passes and weekend passes. Single-day tickets ($35) for Friday and Sunday were available as of publication, so order now if you want a chance to meet your favorite monsters.

5-10 p.m. March 25; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. March 26; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. March 27.
