Despite Sunday’s defeat at Super Bowl LVI, Cincinnati football fans are (rightfully) hopeful about the Bengals’ future. But what do the professionals think?
Oddsmakers already are looking ahead at the Super Bowl math for 2023, and the Bengals are standing much higher than they were last year at this time. Shortly after the end of the Feb. 13 game with the Los Angeles Rams, betting guide The Lines updated its review of major oddsmakers’ predictions on which NFL franchise will win the Super Bowl for the 2022-2023 season.
As of Feb. 15, Cincinnati ties at No. 4 for Caesars Sportsbook with +1400, same as the San Francisco 49ers. DraftKings puts the Bengals at a tie for third with the 49ers and Dallas Cowboys at +1400. At FanDuel, the Bengals are in sixth place with +2000. The Bengals’ best showing happens through BetMGM, at +1200 and tied with the Cowboys. (Odds change frequently. Check The Lines for the current odds and links.)
These odds blow past last year’s predictions. In February 2021, bookies claimed the Bengals had no shot in hell at winning a Super Bowl.
The teams favored to win it all in 2023? The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
